Ann-Kathrin (we call her AK) was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada when she was 4 years old. P.s. you can speak German or English with her!

After coming from Europe, her parents opened North Vancouver's Belart Gallery where AK became immersed in the world of art and culture. Naturally, she was drawn to the world of art and chose to study at Blanche Macdonald Centre where she completed the Global Makeup Program in 2011.

 

After a few years as a freelance makeup artist, she wanted to expand her knowledge in the beauty industry by also pursuing a career as a hairstylist.

In 2013 she graduated from Vancouver's internationally renowed John Casablanca's Institute Hair Art Design program.

 

AK has now been a hairstylist for the past 11 years working in West and North Vancouver at salons as well as from her home. She loves trying new trends and all things color, blended and bright ! 

 

Falling inlove with the relationship that can be created between client and stylist, the ability to make her clients happy makes her heart shine and ultimately keeps her continuing in the industry.

 

Through personal struggles with physical and mental health she discovered the world of holistic health.

In 2017 AK became a nutritional practitioner through The Institute of Holistic Nutrition to give her a holistic twist on her offerings as a beauty professional. AK always says that the experience completey changed her life.
